A memorial service will be held on Thursday, September 15, 2016 at Loree Brethren Church in Bunker Hill, Indiana at 3 pm, with visitation from 1-3. 

Wilbur Lee Beal, 81 of Miami, Indiana, passed away on September 12, 2016 at home surrounded by family. He was Born on March 9, 1935 in Mount Vernon, Illinois.

Wilbur was a proud veteran of the Air Force serving from 1956 to 1962 and fought in the Korean War. After his tour in the military, he continued his adventures in the  Truck Driving world for 40 years as a cross country driver. He was also a faithful member of Loree Brethren Church.

Wilbur is survived by: 1 son, Matthew (Suzanne) Beal (of Miami); 2 grandsons, Andy (Erica McMann) Gerlach (of Kokomo), Cody (Emily Pegg) Gerlach (of Bunkerhill); 2 great grandchildren, Nickolie McMann and Lillyann Gerlach (of Kokomo); 2 nieces, Melissa (Larry Haynes) Streeting (of Michigan City) and Yvonne (Dale Robbins) Streeting (of Michigan City);1 sister, Loretta (Gene) Walker (of Laporte); 5 brothers, Eddy (Vicki) Beal (of Laporte), Larry (Bonnie) Beal (of Michigan City), Michael (Sharon) Beal ( of Kingsbury), Arthur (Faye) Beal ( of Little Rock, Ark) and Harold (Bonnie) Beal ( of Little Rock, Ark) ; brother-in-law,  Clarence Streeting (of Laporte); and numerous nieces,  nephews, great nieces and nephews and great- great nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by: his parents, Fred and Lola Beal; his first wife, Rozella Jane Payne Beal; his second wife, Betty Lou Norris Beal; and his sister, Phyllis (Beal) Streeting.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, September 15, 2016 at Loree Brethren Church in Bunker Hill, Indiana at 3 pm, with visitation from 1-3. Memorial contributions can be made to Loree Brethren Church to AWANA or the Camp Shipshewana Scholarship Fund. Arrangements entrusted to Indiana Funeral Care.
